Learn to Swim & Dive in Westerville

Our first priority in teaching swimming is to make everyone safer in and around the water. Second, swimming provides one of the best forms of fitness for all ages. And third, when becoming comfortable around the water and skilled in basic swimming techniques, one finds an aquatic world filled with multitudes of recreational activities that add to the overall quality and enjoyment of life!

Discounted One-Week Pool Pass (Summer Only)

During the Summer session, families participating in a week of SwimAmerica learn-to-swim lessons may purchase a discounted family pool pass, valid for the week of their lessons. The pool pass can be used Monday (the first day of lessons) through the following Sunday during the pool's regular hours. Please have both your SwimAmerica registration and pool pass receipt for proof of purchase and entry. Only ONE pass is needed per family.


**This (or any) pool pass is NOT required in order to participate in lessons.

Private Swim Lessons

We do offer a la carte private lessons based on our coaches' schedules. Pricing is between $25-$50 depending on the experience level of the instructor.


Private Lessons are offered during the Summer session.

Adult Swim Lessons

During select weeks throughout the summer our adult instructors will be teaching small-group learn-to-swim classes for adults and high school aged swimmers. All ability levels welcome.

"Bubble Babies" Swim Lessons

During select weeks throughout the summer we offer a parent/child "Bubble Babies" class for our littlest swimmers: infants and toddlers up through age 5. Parents are expected to be in the water with their little ones during these classes. Check out our class listings in the table above!

WAC Waves

WAC Waves is a precompetitive group for swimmers in grades 1-8


WAC Waves

  • The WAC Waves program is designed to develop swimmers' stroke technique in all four competitive strokes, while developing endurance up to the level where they can move to the corresponding competitive group within WAC. They will also be introduced or refine their ability with starts, turns, and finishes.
  • The Waves program continues its training during the summer and competes in local competition. Each training block will conclude with a meet that members may sign up for.

Schedule

  • Swimmers have the option to swim one or both days. Junior Wave swimmers will have practice for 45 minutes while Senior Waves swimmers practice for 1 hour.
  • Parents may determine if they wish to sign up for a single day or both days. This is be done by selecting for both days while registering.

Fees & Sessions

  • Junior Waves: $90/Session
  • Senior Waves: $100/Session
